  • Bear Simulator: Now you can be a bear!

Bear Simulator: Now you can be a bear!

It seems now that the fashion of the gaming industry is to develop simulators where the protagonists are animals.First was the announcement of Goat Simulator, the game where you are a goat, and now Bear Simulator, where the protagonist is a bear.

When we had thought that we had survived the news of Goat Simulator (simulator crazy goat) now comes the announcement of Bear Simulator. Its creators, Farjay Studios decided to develop this title with the excuse that there are no games where you control a bear. The game is a FPB (First Person Bear) where we can explore a huge world, eating fish and plants. We can also explore the forest.

As you can see in the trailer of Bear Simulator, the game is in alpha state with a fairly empty world besides both the gameplay and the graphics, the sound … well, basically everything else is subject to several changes for possible improvement . In fact the mechanical version uses a bipedal bear as a trial (in the full game you can control the quadruped animal form). The animal may feed on berries and steal some honey. when resting in the den (a generally cave), the health and stamina will be increased.

The world will have several different areas such as forests, mountains, ocean coast and extensive plains and several more. The game needs $ 29,500 to finance and, as is customary in these cases, those who support the project with a donation will be rewarded with a copy of the game, the soundtrack, shirts and various other things. Bear Simulator is being developed by Farjay Studios and will be available for Microsoft Windows and Mac. The game does not have a specific release date but is expected to hit Steam by November 2014.
