After GameSpy’s official shutdown, many multiplayer games that relied on its technology are still playable online .

Gamespy announced its closure in early April, and operations that included leaderboards, friends lists and multiplayer matchmaking ceased May 31. In the wake of that announcement several independent projects have created workarounds to keep games alive online.

But the problem still continues , many new players who got the fresh installation of the game could not make new profile. But, the TECHOIDS TEAM has came up with the solution . No need to worry, you can Retrieve your username /profile by following this guide .

Step1 : Launch the Game atleast once and Go to this path C:UsersMaverickDocumentsBattlefield 2

And paste the ” Profiles” Folder there . Its will look like this –> C:UsersMaverickDocumentsBattlefield 2Profiles

Step2 : Go to C:UsersMaverickDocumentsBattlefield 2Profiles001

Find profile.con file and ” OPEN WITH NOTEPAD ”

Step 3: The file looks like this –> Here, you have make some changes

LocalProfile.setName “Enter Username” —-> Enter your Battlelog Username

LocalProfile.setNick “Enter Username” —-> Enter your Battlelog Username

LocalProfile.setGamespyNick “Enter Username” —-> Enter your Battlelog Username

LocalProfile.setEmail “Enter battlelog.co EMAIL ID ” —-> Enter your Battlelog Email ID

LocalProfile.setPassword “Enter battlelog.co PASSWORD ” —–> Enter your Battlelog Password

LocalProfile.setTotalPlayedTime 140811

LocalProfile.setNumTimesLoggedIn 3
