The only way you'll know is if you do a test - best to wait a couple of days after the bleeding stops because if it is implantation bleeding, it will take a couple of days for hcg to rise. How will you know for sure when it happens? that's the 1st thing they did when i went into hospital and then they did bloods and swabs and booked me in for a scan, to see if it was ectopic because of the pain i was in.
